The turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries is the time when the expansion of national self-consciousness occurs, and the voices of not only individual or black Americans in US literature are heard more and more clearly.

The artistic creativity of the United States of America continued to develop, including in the book Islamic Tribes and Charles Eastman From the Wilderness of Forests to Civilization (1916). Along with a similar narration on autobiographical material, poetry and short prose, mostly humorous, are becoming more common story. A national policy in which people often encounter white people, as well as special human feelings: the Indians were not afraid to be too eloquent.,
