An American air fleet flew over New York and its bay. Suddenly, the movement stopped, and the system froze. Ten flying forts were each vertex of a wide-spaced cone, a horizontal axis, the body of which was spaced back along the squadron of thousands of helicopter planes. The cones are meandering in the ocean off the coast of New York, their points are a fifty-mile arc of disobedience, their bases touch each other, almost touching the ground at their lower edges, and then swirl upward ten thousand feet. From the van to the rear, each junction was five miles in length.
