Bram Stoker is an author of many books, which were very popular at the time – “The Lair of the White Worm”, “The Snake's Pass”, “The Lady of the Shroud”. However, only one of his novels obtained real immortality. This novel is “Dracula”. This book is not the first narration about vampires but it became a classic of the genre, his etalon and gave occasion to an outburst of worldwide passion of a “vampire” theme, which is not subsided to this day. On basis of different myths, Stoker could create his own immensely beautiful world from Middle Ages up to now, from mysterious Transylvania to cozy London. In addition, the main thing is that he could create a new mythical hero for all times.
